Remote access made simple and secure
Requiring no additional software, the NetDirector KVM can be deployed straight out of box; simply plug it in and log in over an IP address to begin managing servers, switches and other connected devices. The new Eaton-branded NetDirector KVM is the latest addition to the legacy Tripp Lite NetDirector B064 KVM over IP series. A true white space product, the new KVM is ideal for a broad range of data center and server room applications, especially those with multiple locations and/or users who require access from remote locations. The product is also a great fit for difficult-to-access edge IT infrastructure; outsourced IT hardware needing support and service; and controlling mission-critical servers requiring 24/7 uptime. Furthermore, TAA-compliant models make the NetDirector series suitable for government applications.
Standardize cabling for easy expansion
Another advantage of the new KVM series is it enables resellers to help their customers standardize on Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. Unlike traditional KVMs that require a distance-limited, server-specific cable, the new models rely on a standard ethernet cable and server interface unit (SIU), making them compatible with a wide-range of equipment and an excellent option for expansion. We’ve also introduced two new models that feature an integrated LCD console, folding keyboard and a touchpad that slides in and out of the rack for convenient on-site use, eliminating the need for IT personnel to carry a laptop to each rack.
