When it comes to selling into government applications, Eaton is committed to doing everything we can to help our partners cut through any possible red tape. As part of that ongoing pledge, we offer a complete line of power and connectivity solutions certified to comply with the Federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA) for easy addition to GSA Schedules and other business contracts. This month, we are proud to inaugurate four new TAA-compliant models into our Tripp Lite series SmartOnline UPS family.

The refreshed Tripp Lite series SmartOnline® UPS family includes models that comply with the federal Trade Agreements Act (TAA). These TAA-compliant UPS systems are eligible for General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule contracts, making them an option for government and military agencies and contractors.

A complete lineup for every application

Our partners have been asking for a full TAA-compliant UPS portfolio and we listened, with new models ranging from 1.5 to 6 kVA. The new offering covers the entire scope of supportable governmental applications, from small computing and network closest to MDFs and the ever-increasing power demands of modern servers and switches.

The 6 kVA SmartOnline UPS model includes a TAA-compliant network card for SNMP-based remote management, as well as free downloadable PowerAlert software that supports remote monitoring and control, and optional TAA-compliant environmental monitoring sensors. The 1.5-3 kVA units feature a network card slot to add an optional TAA-compliant WEBCARDLXE that is sold separately. Network-enabled SmartOnline UPSs are also compatible with the Eaton Brightlayer Data Centers suite, a portfolio of digital solutions that enables customers to efficiently manage increasingly complex IT ecosystems, providing full system visibility into white space, grey space and/or distributed infrastructures.

One source for total power protection

Available now, the new UPS models join Eaton’s extensive lineup of other TAA-compliant power protection products, all of which are designed to help partners provide viable options to government and military agencies and contractors. In addition to UPSs, PowerAdvantage partners can access TAA-compliant display mounts, floor-standing rack enclosures, wall enclosures, DVR lock boxes, surge protectors, isolation transformers, USB/AC charging carts, connectivity, KVM switches and remote management. The solutions enable you to avoid penalties by staying compliant with GSA Schedule contracts, while supporting the digital infrastructure needs of applications such as schools, courthouses, libraries and state facilities.

With access to complete TAA-compliant solutions from a single source, you can save valuable time on sourcing, purchasing and implementation. Even more, partners don’t have to be power experts to successfully sell into the government sector. As is the case with all of our product lines, Eaton’s dedicated sales and support team provides all the help and resources PowerAdvantage partners need to ensure clear guidance on solutions and compliance. Even more, Eaton’s TAA-compliant solutions enable you to capture richer margins; all products are eligible for deal registration, with discounts of up to 20%.

Supporting critical infrastructure with confidence

Like businesses, governmental entities continue to grow increasingly dependent on digital infrastructure, making it more important than ever to ensure an uninterrupted supply of clean, efficient and reliable power.  The addition of TAA-compliant models to the Tripp Lite series SmartOnline UPS family enables you to do just that ― helping your customers to reduce risk, keep vital services and information accessible, and protect personnel, data and critical systems.
